hey all you rockers out there! well, with storm leaving us this week, the competition is really heating up! 4 rockers left, 2 shows and 1 winner...wonder who it's gonna be?!! firstly i have to say a little about storm...she was one of the most genuine people i've met on this show, always cheering everyone on, having a laugh at her and others expence! when i first saw her dancing to everyones songs in the beginning, i thought she was just after camera time, but as the weeks wore on, i saw that she does it beacuse she really does enjoy the music! she's a great person to hang out with too, and not shy! i think the last few weeks she's looked great, this week was definitely one of my favourite outfits! the producers alweays wanted her to be more feminine, but this is how i like her best..slightly androgenous! i thought lukas looked amazing in the marc vachon vest with built in sleeves..very punk rock! and while a bit of a departure from other weeks, it still looked like him! whether he wins or not, lukas is a star and has a huge future ahead of him!...and i hope i'm around to help with the clothing side of it...we've had a lot of fun over the last couple of months! toby was his usual self this week, although he didn't change clothes as much as he normally does before the show! loved the jacket on him...he really should wear 'em more, although i'm sure the girls out there disagree! he does love those aldo boots though! poor old dilana had a bad time this week, with her ripped calf muscle, but being the trooper she is, she maged to pull off both her performance and outfit in true dilana style...you just can't keep the her down! i especially loved the decorated crutches her and art, one of my assistants, did for the elimination show magni, the rock from iceland, has his own groove going on, and this week just wanted to keep it simple, although he is developing a taste for leather jackets and designer clothes, his county line tee is becoming a favourite label of his!...means i'm doing my job properly!! lets just hope iceland has enough stores to keep his habit going! anyway, i've taken more than enough time out of your days, thanks for reading and writing, which reminds me, i will get the names of the clothing requested by the weekend, so all you readers who are asking, please check back in...and thanks for taking the time...seems like you like the look of the show, which is very flattering! cheers, miles

hey all, sorry for being a bit absent the last couple of weeks...if any of you have kids, you know where i'm coming from! the last thing i can think to do is write a blog when i get home...but i finally figured out that if i write it at the studio...hey presto! so here we are again...want to say thanks to all of you who are writing in, and have to admit to being a bit surprised that all the posts seem to be positive! makes me feel all warm and fuzzy...or is that the alcohol from last night?! but keep writing, it's good to know what you guys like and think of the show and what we here in the rockstar wardrobe dept. do... as i've been away for a while, i just want to say that i miss waiting to see what miss z is gonna wear each week, ok, i do get a preview, but she always had a surprise on the day...i heard she's been offered her own clothing line, which is wicked! good luck to her...she may not have been right for supernova, but you have to admit, she definitely made an impact! i just want to show you some of my favourite outfits from last week...so you can understand what we try and do here... firstly, loved dilanas outfit last week, f!@#$d up prom vampire is how i'd describe it, i love the way she changes it up every week but there is never a question that it's not her! next up, lukas, who i think has got his image down pat...he knows how to make a classic lords leather jacket look kinda creepy...and the accesories, from sacred heart la, add to the image...one of my favourite outfits was, however, the preist outfit we did a couple of weeks ago, and i'm shocked we didn't have the church, or worse, bush's religious zealots trying to shut us down! i know some of you think that he looks a bit 80's, but my whole thing about shows like this is that if you're gonna be a front person in a band, you should have an identifiable image, and lukas certainly has that! this has to be one of my favorite magni outfits of the season, f$%^d up grunge look....hiding the head, and a great distressed leather jacket...it was good to finally see him get a bit dirty...by the way, i'll get the brand of tee for the person who asked...check back in a few days! same with storm...don't think she's looked hotter all season...femeine, but still herself...and if you've seen storm in person, she's makes for quite an imposing figure at 6 feet tall, so you have to be a bit creative in trying to keep her looking like herself, while at the same time trying to get her out of her comfort zone! so all you rockers with a bit of a fashion opinion out ther, get writing in, i'd love to hear what you think of all this, as you are the people we're trying to keep happy here, as well as supernova and the rockers themselves... enjoy the show, and thanks for checking in! cheers, miles

so i once again have to apologise...i have to admit to finding it pretty hard to find the time to write at the minute, working 6 or 7 days a week, and coming home to see my new son...and then the sleep depravation thing...but it's all worth it! gotta admit, i think i have one of the best jobs out there, and i do enjoy hearing what you all have to say, good or bad... a couple of you have been commenting on magni's wardrobe, and i do agree, he does have to step it up a bit now...we all know he has a great voice, but now i need to get him to step out of his comfort zone fashion-wise...although i do stand by what we've done in the last few weeks! i do think that a couple of the others need to take a few steps forward in the fashion stakes too...toby for one, although he does realise that now and is making headway. as i've said before, this is a competition, and i can't force anyone to wear anything, but i can suggest...and i think that the rockers are now staring to see that the people left are all good singers, so they need to step up in the wardrobe and performance departments. zayra, however is not one of those people...she just gets crazier every week...most of her outfits are form trashy lingerie here in la, basically a custom lingerie shop, whos wares you normally see hanging around poles if you get my drift! i agree with tommie's comments about dilanas outfit this week, it just looked too new...needed to be beaten, torn and driven over a few times!still, we live and learn. dana is still trying to be the rocker that she thinks the band want her to be, but i don't think she's too comfortable yet, and the last thing you want to think about is your image when you're getting up to sing on national tv! patrice has really turned the corner this week, being almost unrecognisable witht the hair and outfit...atta girl! ending on a down note, the only outfit i really didn't like was storms...thought she looked like a secretary at a karaoke bar, both with the outfit and the flat hair...she's so @#$%* sexy, i hope she brings some of that back! anyway, please keep writing in, slagging me off, prasing me...i don't care...it's just cool to see some people are passionate enough to take the time! cheers, miles

ok, i'm back...sorry for the delay, have a 4 week old who's decided to practice steven tyler style throughout the night! i've just been reading the comments some of you have posted...thanks for taking the time! to answer a few things... the make music not war tee was one i had done on an existing josh podell tee to make a statement about the shit thats going on in the middle east right now...music has always been political, so lets make sure it still has a voice! brooke's last couple of dresses have been by sheri bodell...she does look great, but then again, can't think of anything she wouldn't look good in! as far as the rockers wardrobe, some of you are getting a bit bored with the melrose looks... i agree, and this is not an excuse, but this is their choice, we just help them look for what they want that week...well, most of them, a couple want us to figure out their wardrobe for them...and to mainiac, who doesn't want them molding, this is not the intention...i will say however, that to front a band like supernova, you have to look the part, and i don't think some of them do, simple as that. not saying that is wrong, but maybe if they aren't ready to bend a bit style-wise, will they bend to supernovas music style? it's a band, and their has to be a bit of compromise don't you think? and please, none of this is about me...i have absolutley no desire to be famous...why do you think there's no picture of me up!? i do agree that eveyone now waits to see what the hell zaya and dilana are going to do next! zayra is a woman who knows what she wants, and we just have to figure out how to find it! dilana is experimanneting with a few different things, some of which have worked, some haven't, but thats what makes her interesting, the fact that she is willing to have a go! lukas is another who has a great idea of image, and isn't afraid to try different things...have to say i loved that cream leather jacket last week (it was by michel berandi from traffic in la if anyone's interested) i think over the next couple of weeks you're gonna see a lot of the other rockers trying different things out in the wardrobe department...it just takes a little while for them to get comfortable and figure this thing out...so mainiac, be patient, and culturalamnesia, if we had the budget for the labels you mention we'd be there...hopefully soon! and keep the comments coming! cheers miles

hey all, my name's miles, and i'm the main wardrobe stylist/ guy for rockstar supernova... basically, it's my job to make sure that everyone on the stage: the rockers, brooke and dave, tommy gilby and jason, all look like the rockers they should be before they step out... having said that, as this is a competition, the rockers can tell me to go *#@& myself, and do what they want...and so far a couple have, in so many words! my whole deal with these guys is to make them realise that whilst stayling true to themselves, they need to look that they'll be at home fronting supernova, a collection of rockers from three of the all time greatest rock bands ever...period! thats some pretty big shoes to fill! for the first couple of weeks, the rockers were more concerned about dressing to the song they were singing, but i'm trying to drill into them that rock bands don't change their outfits if they're singing a hard rockin' tune or a ballad, they are presenting an image to the world...some of them are starting to get it, but others think they know better and are doing what they want...fair play, but as tommy, gilby and jason are all very image concious, lets see who pulls through, and who doesn't. over the next couple of months we'll be showing you photos of what the rockers, supernova, dave, brooke and the wickedly talented house band are sporting, and where you can get the clothes. for now, we have a coouple of peeks into dave and brookes wardrobe, 2 of the most stylish hosts on network tv!! dave is a huge fan of junker pants, so much so in fact, that i'm having todd and giulliana at junker make all his pants for the season...they are pretty #$%^*& amazing dont you think?? put with a j. linderberg dress shirt and daves own jewellry, it makes a pretty strong statement! to check out junker go to www.junkerdesigns.com notg to be outdone, the very beautiful and very sexy brooke has been rocking some great outfits this so far this season...the black leather from a couple of weeks ago, ( also courtesy of junker) makes sure the rockin' mother of two ( lest we forget that!) is still very male rockers fantasy lady! with all the crap going on i the world at the minute, brooke wanted to say something about it this week, so we came up with the idea of this t-shirt, put with a d&g plaid mini to keep it interesting... going forward i'll be babbbling on about the rockers too...if you don't fall asleep, there may be a few inteseting liitle tips! cheers, miles
